Utopic
This work started either as photographs I took while exploring Sharjah, or as screenshots while exploring the internet.Conceptually, the work explores the notions of utopia and the seemingly universal exposure of its facade through the ephemeral nature of reality. Materially, the images are edited and printed, affixed to a wooden canvas, then surfaced with layers of resin, paint, and sanding.
